- Itinerary
Welcome to Sri Lanka! Upon your arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you'll be warmly greeted by our representative and transferred directly to the beach town of Hikkaduwa, just a few hours south of Colombo.
After check-in, take time to unwind from your flight. Enjoy the evening relaxing on the sandy shores or explore the beachside cafés and coral reef. You might even spot sea turtles near the shoreline.
📍 Overnight Stay: Hikkaduwa
After breakfast, head south along the coast to explore the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Galle Fort, a historical Dutch fort that beautifully blends colonial charm with ocean views, boutique shops, and cobblestone streets.
On the way, stop at a turtle hatchery to witness the incredible conservation work being done to protect endangered sea turtles. You’ll get the chance to see baby turtles and understand the importance of ocean conservation in Sri Lanka.
Return to Hikkaduwa in the afternoon for beach time: go snorkeling among colorful corals, try jet skiing, or simply relax with a fresh king coconut in hand.
📍 Overnight Stay: Hikkaduwa
Today, your journey turns wild as you travel down the southern coast. En route, make a short stop at Mirissa for photos and a relaxed beachfront lunch. (Optional: Add a whale-watching excursion if you’re traveling between November and April.)
Continue toward Yala, home to one of Asia’s most thrilling national parks. Check in at your hotel or safari lodge and relax ahead of your wildlife experience.
📍 Overnight Stay: Yala
Rise early and head into Yala National Park for a thrilling jeep safari. This is your best chance to spot leopards, elephants, crocodiles, and exotic birds in their natural habitat. It’s one of the most iconic wildlife experiences in Sri Lanka.
After your safari, enjoy breakfast and check out. On your way to Ella, stop at the ancient Buduruwagala Temple, famous for its rock-carved Buddha statues nestled in a tranquil jungle setting.
Ella welcomes you with its fresh air and lush green landscapes — a favorite among nature lovers and adventure seekers.
📍 Overnight Stay: Ella
Start the day with a refreshing hike to Little Adam’s Peak, a relatively easy trail that rewards you with panoramic views of tea plantations and mountain ridges.
Visit the famous Nine Arch Bridge, an engineering marvel tucked between jungle and tea estates — perfect for photos, especially when the train crosses the bridge.
You can also try the Flying Ravana zipline for a burst of adrenaline, or relax at a scenic café with views of the Ella Gap.
📍 Overnight Stay: Ella
After breakfast, you can either drive or take the scenic train ride from Ella to Nanu Oya (Nuwara Eliya) — often ranked among the most beautiful train journeys in the world.
In Nuwara Eliya, also known as "Little England", enjoy the colonial charm, misty weather, and rolling green hills. Visit a tea factory and plantation, walk around Gregory Lake, and admire the town’s flower gardens and old British buildings.
📍 Overnight Stay: Nuwara Eliya
Rise early for a nature trek in Horton Plains National Park, one of Sri Lanka’s most unique ecosystems. Trek to the dramatic World’s End viewpoint and visit Baker’s Falls along the trail.
After returning to the hotel, enjoy your afternoon at leisure. You can take a boat ride on Gregory Lake, visit the Ambewela Farm, or sip Ceylon tea by a fireplace.
📍 Overnight Stay: Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast, check out and begin your comfortable transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport or to your next destination in Sri Lanka.
Optional stops can be arranged along the way depending on your flight time, including short city tours, souvenir shopping, or a final scenic stop at Ramboda Falls.
