Check in to your hotel in Sigiriya and relax after your flight. If time permits, enjoy a traditional village tour with a bullock cart ride, catamaran experience, and a local cooking demo — a perfect cultural introduction.

Start your day early with a sunrise hike to Pidurangala Rock, located next to the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress. The panoramic view from the top gives you an incredible sunrise over Sigiriya and the surrounding jungle.

Return to the hotel for breakfast, then check out and head toward Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore its ancient statues, murals, and the peaceful atmosphere inside the rock cave complex.

Next, visit the world-renowned Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, where you can witness rescued elephants being cared for, bottle-fed, or bathing in the river — a heartwarming sight for all animal lovers.

By afternoon, you’ll continue toward the hill capital of Kandy, surrounded by mountains and tea plantations. Once you arrive, check in to your hotel and unwind.

In the evening, visit Kandy city for shopping or visit a local gem museum, batik factory, or spice garden if time allows.

After breakfast, begin your final day with a visit to Sri Dalada Maligawa (Temple of the Tooth Relic) – one of the most sacred Buddhist temples in the world, where a tooth relic of Lord Buddha is preserved.

Then take a city tour of Kandy, exploring its vibrant markets, scenic lake, and colonial architecture. If time permits, enjoy shopping for handicrafts, silk, gems, and souvenirs.

After lunch or as per your flight schedule, begin your transfer back to the airport or your next preferred location.
